The Christmas Journey
All year 3 children went in 3 groups to Abridge Evangelical Church.
On Monday we went to a church and we learnt the Christmas story but with a twist – there were real people acting it out.
Here are some comments from the children:
- I liked the funny animals in the stable.
- I enjoyed the bit where we went around the church in and out of curtained areas for different parts of the Christmas journey.
- I liked the song!
- I also enjoyed the funny animals who told part of the story.
- I liked the part where the angel talked to Mary.
- The animals were good.
- One of my favourite parts was seeing the gold, myrrh and frankincense in the Kings castle.
- The best part was all of it! It was fantastic and I hope it happens next year even if it is only for year 3 children.
