The adventures of Traction Man and Scrubbing Brush and the evil Scissor Shark!
The children thought of fantastic ideas for Tractions Man’s next adventure. They drew the story and wrote brief descriptions of what was happening. We completed speech bubbles using exclamation marks and added sound words (onomatopoeia!!).
Open Evening 2016
The children had a fun morning, joining with Pakes, Forest and Coppice, having a round robin of sport. Many children said this was the best morning of sport, especially looking after the reception children and encouraging them to join in.
Happy Birthday your Majesty!
We iced a birthday cake to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday. We sang her Happy Birthday and learned about her life and family.
We observed the chicks and found out which food they liked the best.
Most chicks preferred rice and bread.
We found out that our greediest chick was Jeffery Bob!
A big thank you and well done to everyone for their fantastic chick homework!

Great Easter bonnets Baldocks!
Well done for a fantastic, jam-packed half term. Have a wonderful Easter break. Read every day, practise times tables and telling the time and be helpful to your Mummies and Daddies!
Wednesday evening and Thursday morning saw some very eggciting news! We have 4 chicks.

Today we took delivery of a very important package, 10 ready to hatch eggs. We can't wait to see what happens.

Multi-Skills Morning at Debden Park
We had a fantastic time trying out activities and learning new skills.
In Computing we have been using the IPad, cameras and camcorder to take pictures of each other.
We felt objects in “feely boxes” and described them using adjectives and expanded noun phrases.
Naughty dragons were hiding in our classroom! Look at the mess they made!
At least we found them all! Phew!
